How Does God Speak To You?

Is it through music, dreams, visions or even scripture?

For me, it’s all of the above, but mainly through music. Sometimes God wakes me up in the morning with a song or even plants a song in my heart during the day. The tricky part is when he places a song that I don’t know; then I’ll have to be a detective searching YouTube for the song by the lyric then listening to hear if it’s the right one πŸ˜ͺ. Most times, I find it on the first try. Other times, it takes a bit longer, but I always find it.

Often, when I’m about to spend time with him, right as the clock strikes 10 pm, a song comes into my spirit, but this time was different. I had to ask him for guidance on what he wanted me to do, which he did. You can read here https://www.herluxehaven.com/wait-on-the-lord/.

It’s 1:40 am, and God WOULD NOT allow me to sleep until I wrote this. He placed Jireh in my spirit at 10 pm after I was finished preparing for a pop-up shop for Anja Beauty. I should have been excited but, for some reason, I wasn’t. I never listened to the song until yesterday while driving; it’s weird there are certain songs God prohibits me from listening to until it’s the right time.

So here is my spirit up at 1:40 am repeating Jireh when I have a busy day ahead of me.

But you know what stuck out to me the most, the bridge!

“If He dresses the lilies with beauty and splendour, How much more will He clothe you?”

Jireh Snippet

Based on the previous experience, I searched for a verse and look!

“Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.”

Luke 12:27 NKJV

The Message version says:

Has anyone by fussing before the mirror ever gotten taller by so much as an inch? If fussing can’t even do that, why fuss at all? Walk into the fields and look at the wildflowers. They don’t fuss with their appearanceβ€”but have you ever seen colour and design quite like it? The ten best-dressed men and women in the country look shabby alongside them. If God gives such attention to the wildflowers, most of them never even seen, don’t you think he’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you?”

Luke 12:25-28 MSG

Today is God is saying that he cares for you; he cares about what you’re going through and what you’re doing. Do not worry about anything; he will supply all your needs because He is your provider (JIREH).
