A Prayer for You

November 11th 2020

Heavenly Father, I come before you thanking you for your grace and mercies, and I repent of my sins and my offensive ways. Father, I bless your holy name for bringing me this far and I thank you in advance for where you’re taking me.

Lord this has been bothering me for sometime, therefore I come on behalf of some persons today:

Lord, I pray for women who believe that the love of a man will make them complete. Father, they need to know that you loved us first, and your love is more significant than anything man could ever give. I pray they seek you daily and gain self-love.

Lord, I pray for the woman who remains in a relationship because she feels like there’s no one better. Father, this woman is unhappy but stays because of security. Father show her that she’s settling for less than what you have written for her. Show her that she deserves happiness. She deserves to smile more than she cries.

Lord, I pray for the woman who feels trapped in a relationship with her children’s father. Lord, he treats her horribly, but she stays because she wants to keep her family together and doesn’t want children with multiple men. Lord reveal to her that she’s losing herself trying to keep things together. Show her that the children know when things aren’t right, and she’s only providing them with an example of a bad relationship. Staying would only allow the children to replicate what they see in future relationships. Help her to see the light Lord.

Lord, I pray for those who are afraid of starting over. Father, they feel like this is the best life has to offer, so they accept the cheating, the attitudes, and the disrespect. Lord if they knew the plans you had for them they would let go of the old and step into the new. Lord, we are all your daughters.

Thank you for loving us even when we disappoint you. As I close this prayer, may the tears that these women cried be wiped away and may the joy of the Lord take over. May they also find peace in you. I pray these women seek your face to make the best decision for themselves and their children.

In Jesus name I pray amen. πŸ™πŸ½
